Opel Suspended its Production

opelThe debacle of world economy now hits worldwide auto market because nowadays every country faces financial crisis. As a result, every citizen in a specific country has to struggle to live hand to mouth. So, to get a new car now it is considered as dream to those people who want to get a new car a few months ago. Therefore, day by day demand for cars is decreasing. On the other hand, low demand for car now make a headache to the automakers because this lower demand, especially in Europe has already made to bound Adam Opel, a German auto maker, to cease production at its plant in southern Poland.

Opel car plant in Gliwice, an industrial city in southern Poland, is planning overall 14 days of suspended car assembling in November and December. The plant was established in 1998 and near about 3000 employees work here. Now the factory constructs Astra and Zafira cars. To say about the situation, the company has said lower demand for the cars has been caused because of buyers holding up their purchase decisions owing to economic concerns. To see the Opel decision, some experts say if the world does not get rid of from current financial debacle in future more companies will be bound to cut their production.
