The debacle of world economy now hits worldwide auto market because nowadays every country faces financial crisis. As a result, every citizen in a specific country has to struggle to live hand to mouth. So, to get a new car now it is considered as dream to those people who want to get a new car a few months ago. Therefore, day by day demand for cars is decreasing. On the other hand, low demand for car now make a headache to the automakers because this lower demand, especially in Europe has already made to bound Adam Opel, a German auto maker, to cease production at its plant in southern Poland.

Opel car plant in Gliwice, an industrial city in southern Poland, is planning overall 14 days of suspended car assembling in November and December. The plant was established in 1998 and near about 3000 employees work here. Now the factory constructs Astra and Zafira cars. To say about the situation, the company has said lower demand for the cars has been caused because of buyers holding up their purchase decisions owing to economic concerns. To see the Opel decision, some experts say if the world does not get rid of from current financial debacle in future more companies will be bound to cut their production.

The word limousine has come from the name a French region named Limousine. The limousine (or limo) is an extension and moderation of a large Sedan. It is normally longer than a luxury car. Its chassis have been extended by the producer or the manufacturer or a couch builder. Usually, limo is white or black in color. It is generally driven by a chauffeur. Sometimes limo is used for special occasions for example weddings, festivals, parties, picnics and sight-seeing tours. The first limo was built in 1902. At first, it was designed so that the driver would sit outer side of the car under a covered compartment.

Now there is a divider which separates the chauffeur (driver) from the rear passenger compartment. The divider generally contains a sliding soundproof glass window so that conversations among the passengers in the rear compartment to keep secret from the driver. To communicate with the chauffeur (driver) is possible either by opening the glass of the window in the divider or by using intercom.

There is a longer frame with wheelbase give the rear passenger compartment to have the typical forward facing passenger seat with a large surface of foot room for the traveler. Generally two “jump seats” are mounted and facing rearward at the back the chauffeur. The jump seats fold up at the time not in use. Thus, up to five passengers can be sited in the aft compartment of the limo in comfort. On the other hand up to two extra passengers sited in the driver’s compartment. The seat plan, seven persons in addition to the driver, has now become very less popular in new limousines. There are many new limousines such as Hummer H2, Maybach 62, Audi A8L, Leyland Miracle, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 760Li, and Lincoln Town Car. These limousines use for more than three persons except the driver. The limos provide bars with refrigerators, audio players, video players and televisions facilities. There are some companies which offer limousines through their users and dealers as special and individual order motor vehicles from time to time as their requirement.

Most of the limousines are owned by governments to transport high officials and senior politicians. Many large companies and organization use limo to transport their executives. A number of limos are owned by individual people. On the other hand, some limos run as lively vehicles to provide expensive contest to taxicab service.
